Spring Has Sprung and The Drop Has Dropped

The winds of winter are over, and spring is here at last! We are so happy with the response of the last drop and the feedback you guys have been giving us - the winter season marked the relaunch of the brand, as well as our 5-year anniversary. And we definitely couldn’t have done it without you guys.

Looking at the Winter season as a whole we looked at what worked, what didn’t, and built upon that with the new season. After an eternity of experimenting with new ideas for designs, we decided to take a look back at our past releases and noticed a recurring theme – The Anchor. For hundreds of years, sailors have tattooed themselves with the Anchor, which represents a solidarity and grounding. A reminder of home and heritage.

This led us to start looking at ourselves in a new light – not just as a clothing line, but as a lifestyle brand. Like the Anchor, our souls are forever tied to the sea. Forever bound. Forever Soulless.

You asked, we listened.

In the run up to the spring drop, we wanted to show our gratitude and give something back to you guys. After the success of the Instagram giveaway we’ve planned plenty more for over the coming months - as a thank you for the overwhelming interest.

With the new season we wanted to leave winter’s dark tones and embrace Spring head on with light, pastel tones and clean whites. The new take on the oncoming range gave us a fresh angle to work with, and left us with the question – what could we bring to the table next?

There was a big gap in our range and due to high demand, we’ve introduced the baseball cap (finally!). The Baseball Cap is something we’ve been wanting to do for a while now and being cap enthusiasts at DR, we took every opportunity to make it our next big venture.

Fashionably Late
With an early spring release planned, we were primed and ready to leap in to the new season, however with the freak snowstorm and wild weather that hit us back in February, our stock was delayed on arriving and set us back a few weeks. The pressure was on now and as the weeks went on we fell to plan B, pulled a few strings and managed to re-arrange shoots at the last minute. Although the typical English weather was against us, we were determined to get shoots under wrap and get the Spring Drop ready.

As Gandalf says, ‘never late nor early, we arrive precisely when we mean to!’

We’ve overcome every hurdle thrown our way to launch Spring and can proudly say it’s here. We just want to say a big thank you to everyone who’s supported us on this journey and stuck with us to the bitter end.

There is so much more to come on the horizon and we’re excited to share this adventure with you lot!

Stay Soulless.

PB
